What day will my delivery arrive?
We deliver Tuesday to Friday. As a guide, our routes generally run as follows:
- Tuesday: North Gold Coast + Brisbane/Logan
- Wednesday: Central Gold Coast
- Thursday: Hinterland + Central Gold Coast
- Friday: South Gold Coast + Tweed
Some postcodes cover multiple suburbs and can fall on different days. We confirm your delivery day once your order is placed, you’ll see it in your order confirmation email, and you’ll also receive a reminder SMS the night before delivery.
How often can I get deliveries?
You can choose delivery every week, every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks, or every 4 weeks. Pick what suits you at checkout or in your subscription settings.
How does the bottle swap work?
On delivery day, we swap empties for full bottles. To help the swap go smoothly:
- Leave empties out by 8:00am
- Keep bottles in the shade
- Leave the cap on
- Please don’t put anything inside the bottle
Where should I leave the bottles for delivery?
Please leave a clear, safe spot for the driver. If possible, choose a place with all-day shade. If there isn’t shade, leaving a towel out so bottles can be covered helps on hot days.
What if I live in an apartment or gated complex?
Add gate codes and access instructions in Delivery notes at checkout (for example: where to leave the bottles, best contact on arrival).
Can I manage my subscription (skip, pause, change, cancel)?
Yes. You can skip, pause, edit, or cancel anytime before payment is processed. You can manage your subscription in your account.
Need to stop deliveries?
No worries. Our bottles are returnable and essential to our service, so we’ll arrange free bottle collection.

Why our water tastes so good?
A lot of spring water is about what you don’t do to it. Our water comes from a natural spring source on Mount Tamborine and arrives with its own mineral profile already in place. We keep the process simple, we handle it carefully, and we bottle it fresh.
What that means for you:
- Naturally mineral-rich water with a clean, smooth taste
- Lightly filtered for clarity, without stripping the character out of the water
- Nothing artificial added, just spring water as it comes from the source
- Fresh and convenient, delivered free to eligible postcodes across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and the Tweed area, or available 24/7 at our refill station in Burleigh Heads
Where is the refill station and how does it work?
Our refill station is open 24/7 at 8 Ramly Dr, Burleigh Heads.
- Bring or buy a bottle
- Tap and pay (cashless): card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay
- Press to fill and follow the on-screen steps
Can I use my own bottles at the refill station?
Yes. Please make sure your bottle is clean before refilling. The rinse function is a quick rinse, not a full clean.
If you don’t have a bottle, you can buy a 15.2L BPA-free refill bottle online and get free delivery plus a $24 refill credit card.
What’s included with the 15.2L refill station bottle?
Our 15.2L refill station bottle (customer-owned) includes a FREE $24 refill credit card, plus a silicone reusable cap, so you can start refilling straight away.
This is different to our returnable delivery bottles, which are collected, sanitised, and reused as part of the home delivery swap service.
How do I keep my refill station bottle clean?
Wash regularly with mild dish liquid or a white vinegar rinse, then air dry. Store in a cool, shaded place, away from heat and direct sun. Don’t store in a hot vehicle.
Do you sell or rent water coolers?
Yes. We offer bench-top and floor-standing coolers, with options to buy outright or rent annually. Visit our Shop page to see current options.
How do I clean my water cooler?
We recommend cleaning your cooler every 3 to 6 months. It takes around 10 to 15 minutes.
Before you start
- Turn the power off at the wall (if your cooler is powered).
- Don’t use bleach or harsh cleaners, they can damage the unit.
Quick cleaning steps
- Remove the empty bottle and drain any remaining water through the taps.
- Remove the spike and collar (the part the bottle sits on). Wash with warm water and mild dish liquid, then rinse and dry.
- Clean the reservoir using a food-safe sanitising solution (we can supply a sanitisation kit). Leave it to sit for 10 minutes.
- Drain through both taps, then rinse once with clean water and drain again.
- Wipe the outside (including taps) with a non-abrasive cloth and mild detergent, then dry.
- Refit the spike/collar, place a new bottle on, and switch the unit back on.
Tip: Before placing a new bottle on the cooler, wipe the cap with a clean damp cloth, the top of the cap sits inside the unit and can introduce dust.
How do I clean my ceramic water dispenser?
We recommend cleaning your ceramic water dispenser about every 3 months, or sooner if it hasn’t been used for a while.
Steps
- Empty the dispenser and remove the tap (hold the nut inside and turn the tap anticlockwise to remove).
- Place the dispenser, tap, spike and nut in a sink or laundry tub. Wash with warm to hot water and mild dish liquid.
- Let it soak for 10 minutes, then wipe inside and out with a non-abrasive sponge.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a clean, lint-free towel.
- Refit the tap (turn clockwise until firm). Make sure the silicone washer sits on the outside. Refit the spike and place your bottle back on.
Tip: Before placing a new bottle on the dispenser, wipe the cap and neck with a clean damp cloth to remove dust.
Extra tip: If the dispenser is on a stand, get someone to steady it while you fit the bottle.

How does the Plant-a-Tree program work?
For every new Alkasprings delivery customer, we fund the planting of one native tree as a thank you.
We support the Plant-a-Tree project in Yarra Yarra, Western Australia, helping restore habitat by reconnecting patches of native vegetation and creating a long wildlife corridor.
Tree planting is purchased through Carbon Neutral
What are your sustainability goals?
Our goal is to reduce single-use plastic by making it easy to choose reusable bottles and refill options. We focus on practical changes that make a real difference, and we keep improving how we operate over time.
Some of the ways we do this:
- Reusable, returnable 15.2L BPA-free bottles, collected, sanitised and refilled
- Recyclable bottle caps
- A 24/7 refill station in Burleigh Heads, so customers can refill instead of buying single-use bottles
- Low fuel consumption delivery vehicles
- Our Plant-a-Tree program (one native tree funded for every new delivery customer)
- A custom reusable silicone cap designed for industry-standard bottles
We’re also working on reducing our overall footprint and improving efficiency as we grow.
If you want to keep the “working towards carbon neutral” line, add this last sentence:
We’re working towards a lower-impact, more efficient business as we grow.
